The Solis RHI-3P8K-HVES-5G is a three-phase hybrid inverter rated 8 kW: it converts the output of the PV modules, charges and discharges the storage battery and exchanges with the grid, all in a single unit with a single control logic.
In normal operation the energy produced and not consumed is stored in the battery instead of being exported, and becomes available again in the evening: it is the most direct way to raise self-consumption. The backup output keeps the essential loads running even when the grid is down. The PV inputs are 2 MPPT, with independent MPPT tracking, so strings with different orientation or shading do not penalise each other.
