What it does
- The two contacts on the entry door and the locker report every opening with a notification.
- The two vibration sensors on a window or on the bodywork pick up knocks and attempts to force them.
- The G100 2K camera covers the inside and records to the microSD supplied; the video is watched from the app.
- The panic mini button, next to the bed, raises an alarm or an emergency notification at one press.
- The M100 hub, plugged into the 12V USB socket, connects the Zigbee sensors and brings them into the app.
- With scenes the alarm arms when you leave the motorhome and disarms when you come back.

How it is installed
Hub and network. The M100 hub plugs into the flush USB socket included, wired to the 12V line with its own fuse. For the app and the notifications you need a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network on board, from a 4G router or a hotspot, not included. Put the hub in the middle of the motorhome, away from metal bodywork.
Camera. The High Endurance microSD supplied goes into the G100, which is then set on a unit or a wall cupboard with the entrance door and the dinette in view. It is powered over USB, as the manufacturer states, from an on-board USB socket. Check the curtains do not block the view.
Sensors and button. The contacts are fixed to the frame and the leaf of the entrance door and the locker, with the two parts close together and lined up when the door is shut. The vibration sensors go on a window or on the inside of the bodywork, near the ways in. The panic button goes by the bed. All of them are fixed with the double-sided tape in the box.
App and pairing. In the Aqara Home app you add the M100 hub and join it to the on-board Wi-Fi, then pair the sensors, the button and the camera one at a time. Rename them by position and set the sensitivity of the vibration sensors, which need turning off or turning down when under way or in wind.
Recommended automations. A surveillance mode arms when you leave the motorhome: a door or locker opening and heavy vibration send a notification and start recording. At night only the perimeter is armed, on the contacts, so you can move about inside. The panic button calls up a notification to your contacts and, if the camera supports it, an audible alarm.
Contents verified. Hub, sensors, button and camera are from the Aqara range and run in the same Aqara Home app: the sensors and the button pair with the M100 hub included. Included are a 64GB High Endurance microSD, one for the camera, suited to continuous recording, and the flush-mounted 12V USB socket to power the hub and the camera from the motorhome's system.

Before you order
Do you need a hub?
Yes, and it is included: the Aqara M100 hub brings the sensors and the button into the app. It runs off the 12V USB socket included. A Wi-Fi network on board is also needed, from a 4G router or a hotspot, and it is not included.
Does it work without internet?
Hub and sensors carry on working on the on-board network and the camera records to the microSD. To get notifications while you are away, though, you need internet on board, from a 4G router or a hotspot left switched on.
Does it work with Apple, Alexa and Google?
The M100 hub supports Matter, so it can bring compatible devices into Apple Home, Alexa and Google Home. The full functions of the sensors and the camera are managed in the Aqara Home app.
Do you need an electrician?
No for the sensors, the button and the camera. Only the flush-mounting USB socket has to be wired to the motorhome's 12V circuit on a dedicated fuse and with the right polarity: if you are not confident, have a motorhome fitter do it.
Are batteries included?
The sensors and the button are battery-powered; what is supplied depends on each item's box, as described on the Amazon listing. The charge level is shown in the Aqara Home app. The hub and the camera are USB-powered.
Do the vibration sensors go off while you are driving?
On the move and in strong wind the vibration sensors will pick up movement: use them only with the motorhome parked, within a surveillance mode you arm when you leave, and with the sensitivity set in the app.
Can I add devices?
Yes: motion sensors, more contacts for hatches and lockers, temperature sensors, a second camera. They pair to the same hub and work in the same scenes in the Aqara Home app.
