What it does
- The Sonoff SNZB-03PR2 motion sensor, fitted inside the shop and facing the door, picks up anyone coming in.
- The Sonoff ZB Bridge Pro picks up the signal and sets off the SNZB-09P Zigbee siren in the back room.
- The siren sounds for a few seconds, like a doorbell: it warns without alarming.
- The scene only runs during opening hours: outside them you can have a notification on your phone instead.
- In the eWeLink app you see the history of every passage and the time of each detection.

How it is installed
Zigbee bridge. The ZB Bridge Pro is the Zigbee hub: it goes centrally between the front and the back of the shop, away from electrical boards and large metal surfaces, and joins the shop's Wi-Fi. Power it as the manufacturer specifies and add it to the eWeLink app first.
Motion sensor. The SNZB-03PR2 sensor fixes inside the shop at about two metres, aimed at the entrance door. Do not point it at the window or the pavement, or it will pick up people walking past outside, nor at radiators or air conditioners. Test the coverage by walking from the door to the counter.
Siren in the back room. The SNZB-09P siren goes in the back room, somewhere it is clearly heard even with machinery running, powered as the manufacturer specifies. The kit needs no cable runs and no electrical work: everything between the devices goes over Zigbee radio.
App and pairing. In the eWeLink app, from the bridge, you start the search for new Zigbee devices and pair the sensor first and then the siren, following each one's pairing procedure. Give them clear names, such as “entrance” and “back”, and check the sensor reports movement.
Recommended automations. One scene: if the sensor picks up movement, the siren sounds for two or three seconds, active only during opening hours. A minimum gap between two alerts, so it does not keep sounding when a group comes in. Out of hours, a notification on your phone instead of the siren.
Contents verified. The SNZB-03PR2 sensor and the SNZB-09P siren are Sonoff Zigbee devices that pair with the ZB Bridge Pro and are run in the eWeLink app. The kit needs no installation sundries: the sensor is battery powered and fixes to the wall, and the bridge and the siren go next to a socket.

Before you order
Do you need a hub?
Yes, and it is included: the Sonoff ZB Bridge Pro. The sensor and the siren are Zigbee and talk only to the bridge, which in turn joins the shop Wi-Fi. Without the bridge the two devices would not work.
Does it work with Alexa and Google?
Yes, Sonoff devices reach Alexa and Google Home through the eWeLink app. You can have an Alexa speaker announce a customer coming in, for example, on top of the siren.
Do you need an electrician?
No. The sensor is battery-powered and fixes to the wall with double-sided tape or screws; bridge and siren are powered as the manufacturer describes, with no work on the electrical installation. Fitting takes a few minutes and leaves no marks, if you use the tape.
What happens if there is no internet?
With no internet you get no notifications and cannot use the app remotely. Scenes between Zigbee devices can carry on locally on the bridge if they are set as local scenes, as the manufacturer states: it is worth testing that by pulling the connection after installation.
Does it sound when I go out as well?
Yes, the sensor picks up movement in both directions. To cut down pointless alerts you set a minimum interval between two chimes and aim the sensor at the entrance, not at the counter where you move about most.
Can I add devices?
Yes. The bridge takes other Sonoff Zigbee devices: a second sensor for another entrance, contacts on the doors, temperature sensors, sockets. They are added from the same eWeLink app, without changing the scene you have already set.
Are batteries included?
The motion sensor runs on batteries: what comes as standard is stated on the product's Amazon listing. Bridge and siren are powered as the manufacturer specifies. The sensor's battery level is checked in the eWeLink app.
