What it does
- The Sonoff AirGuard measures CO2 in the bedroom: at night, with the door and window shut, it shows when the air goes stale.
- The PM2.5/PM10 monitor measures fine particulates and tells you when it is worth switching the purifier on.
- The Sonoff S60TPF socket switches the purifier or the dehumidifier on when a threshold is passed and off when the readings are back to normal.
- The socket meters the consumption of whatever is plugged into it.
- The overnight history in the eWeLink app helps you work out when to open the window or adjust the ventilation.

How it is installed
Wi-Fi network. Monitor and socket join the home 2.4GHz Wi-Fi through the eWeLink app, with no hub. Check the signal reaches the bedroom. The monitors are powered as the manufacturer states: plan for a free socket or USB charger near the spot you choose.
CO2 and particulate monitors. The CO2 monitor goes on a shelf or on the bedside table about a metre from the bed, not right by the sleeper's face and not next to the window. The particulate monitor goes on the opposite side of the room from the purifier, so it measures the room's air and not air that has just been filtered.
Socket and appliance. The S60TPF socket plugs into a wall socket and feeds the purifier or the dehumidifier. The appliance has to restart on its own when the power comes back, with a mechanical switch or a memory function: if it only has touch buttons, the socket powers it but does not switch it on. Avoid multi-way adaptors.
App and pairing. In the eWeLink app you add one device at a time with the setup wizard and put everything in the “Bedroom”. You check the readings appear and test the socket from the app, making sure the appliance really does come on. If there are several people in the house, the app lets you share the devices with their accounts.
Recommended automations. Purifier on when PM2.5 goes above the threshold and off when it comes back down. Notification when CO2 goes above around 1,000ppm, so you can open a window or the door. Dehumidifier only during the day, or at low speed at night so it does not disturb your sleep.
Contents verified. The two monitors and the plug are Sonoff Wi-Fi and work in the same eWeLink app, where the monitor readings drive the plug through scenes. The kit needs no extras: everything either sits on a surface or goes into a socket.

Before you order
Do you need a hub?
No. The monitor and the plug connect straight to the home Wi-Fi and are managed from the eWeLink app. All you need is a router with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi covering the bedroom.
Does it work with any air purifier or dehumidifier?
It works with appliances that switch themselves on as soon as they get power, for example those with a mechanical switch or last-state memory. If the appliance only has touch buttons and comes back off, the socket is not enough. Check the manual first.
Do you need an electrician?
No. The monitor sits on a cabinet and the plug goes into the wall socket. There is nothing to wire into the electrical installation: the wall socket simply has to suit the power of the appliance connected.
Does it work with Alexa and Google?
Yes, through the eWeLink integration: the socket shows up in the assistant and switches on by voice, and the readings may be visible depending on what the assistant supports. The automatic thresholds are set in the eWeLink app.
What happens if there is no internet?
The monitors keep measuring and the plug stays in its last state, or can be switched with its own button. Scenes between monitors and plug, and the notifications, depend on the connection and on the manufacturer's functions, and resume when the line is back.
Does the CO2 monitor tell me the temperature as well?
The kit is built for CO2 and particulates. Whether the monitor also shows other readings depends on the model, as stated by the manufacturer. For accurate temperature and humidity control in the room, get in touch through the contact page and we will tell you which Sonoff sensor to add.
Can I add devices?
Yes: more Sonoff sockets for a second appliance, more monitors for the other bedrooms, or Sonoff temperature and humidity sensors. They appear in the same app and work in the same scenes.
