What it does
- The two SNZB-05P water detectors on the floor warn as soon as there is water in the meter room or the cellar, from seepage or a burst pipe.
- The IP65 SNZB-02WD sensor with display measures temperature and humidity: you can see when the cellars get too damp and mould becomes a risk.
- The SNZB-03PR2 motion sensor switches the hallway light on through the MINI ONE relay as residents pass.
- The light goes off after the time set; the existing switch stays in use.
- The building manager gets the notifications and checks the history in the eWeLink app.

How it is installed
Hub and network. The Sonoff ZB Bridge Pro hub goes near the communal router, connected to Wi-Fi and to the eWeLink app. In basements the Zigbee signal struggles through the floor slabs: if the router is on the upper floors, bring the hub as close to the cellars as you can. The mains-powered MINI ONE relay helps extend the Zigbee network along the corridor.
The light relay. The MINI ONE goes in the box behind the corridor light switch or in the junction box, with live and neutral, within the 16A rating stated by the manufacturer. The 230V wiring is for a qualified electrician, with the supply isolated. Joints with the Wago 221-413 connectors; if the module will not fit, use a deep 503 box or the Gewiss enclosure.
Sensors. The SNZB-05P detectors sit on the floor at the lowest point of the meter room and the cellars, near drains or pipework. The SNZB-02WD sensor fixes to the corridor wall at mid height, away from doors to the outside. The motion sensor goes at the corridor entrance, facing whoever comes up the stairs.
App and pairing. In the eWeLink app pair the relay to the hub first, then the sensors, each with its own setup wizard. Rename them after where they are fitted. Check they all show as online from their final positions. Test the detectors with a damp cloth and check the notification comes through.
Recommended automations. Set up a scene: motion detected switches the hallway light on, and it goes off after two or three minutes with no movement. Set an immediate notification for water and an alert when the humidity stays above the threshold for many hours. Share the device with the building manager and with a resident who can act on it.
Contents verified. The SNZB-05P detectors, the SNZB-02WD sensor, the SNZB-03PR2 motion sensor and the MINI ONE relay are Sonoff Zigbee devices compatible with the ZB Bridge Pro hub included and managed in the same eWeLink app. The kit holds the Wago 221-413 connectors for the relay's connections, the optional deep 503 boxes if the module will not fit behind the insert, and the Gewiss junction box as an alternative.

Before you order
Do you need a hub?
Yes, and it is included: every device in the kit is Zigbee and talks to the Sonoff ZB Bridge Pro hub, which links them to the eWeLink app and to the Wi-Fi in the common areas. Without the hub they cannot be used.
Do you need an electrician?
Yes, for the light relay: it wires into 230V behind the switch or in the junction box, with live and neutral. The connections must be made by qualified personnel, with the installation isolated. The battery sensors go up with no electrical work.
Does it work with Alexa or Google Home?
The eWeLink app offers integration with Alexa and Google Home as the manufacturer states. For communal areas it is better to manage everything in eWeLink and share access with the building manager and the people in charge.
What happens if there is no internet?
The light switch always works. Scenes between devices on the same hub can be set to run locally, within the eWeLink functions; flood notifications arrive once the line is back.
Are batteries included?
The detectors, the climate sensor and the motion sensor run on batteries; check on the Amazon listing whether the first set comes in the box. Each sensor's charge level is shown in the eWeLink app.
Can I add more points?
Yes: you can pair more detectors, motion sensors and relays to the same hub for other corridors or garages. If the cellars run a long way, mains-powered relays help with coverage. Get in touch through the contact page with a floor plan.
What if a product is out of stock on Amazon?
