What it does
- Each Sonoff MINI-D closes its volt-free contact for an instant on the step-by-step input of the door control unit, just like the wall button.
- The two Sonoff SNZB-04P contacts on the doors show in the app whether each one is open or closed, so you know the real state and not just the command you sent.
- If a main door is left open beyond the time set, after closing for example, you get a notification.
- The existing door buttons and remote handsets keep working as before.
- The app history logs the openings and closings of each door.

How it is installed
Hub and network. The Sonoff ZB Bridge Pro hub goes in the office or in a plant room near the doors, not in a metal cupboard, connected to Wi-Fi and to the eWeLink app: it is needed for the Zigbee contacts. The MINI-D modules, on the other hand, connect straight to Wi-Fi, so 2.4GHz coverage is needed next to the door control units; check it with a smartphone.
Modules on the controllers. Each MINI-D is powered at 230V and takes its volt-free contact to the command input terminals on the control unit, in parallel with the existing push button, following the control unit's and the manufacturer's wiring diagram. The wiring must be done by a qualified person, with the supply isolated. The door's safety devices, such as photocells and safety edges, stay connected and active.
Contacts and accessories. The SNZB-04P contacts are fixed low down on the fixed frame, with the magnet on the bottom panel of the door, lined up with the door shut. On metal surfaces, check in the app that the contact changes state properly. The joints are made with Wago 221-413; the modules go in a deep 503 back box or, better, in the Gewiss junction box next to the controller.
App and pairing. In the eWeLink app add the two MINI-D modules to the Wi-Fi and pair the two contacts to the hub. Set the MINI-D units to pulse mode, with the contact closing for about a second, and name each module after its door. Try the command from the app while watching the door and check the contact changes state at the end of travel.
Recommended automations. Set up a notification if a door is left open for more than ten minutes outside loading hours or after the warehouse closes. You can schedule an evening reminder if a door is not showing as closed. Only use the remote command with the door in sight or with the safety devices fitted to the control unit, following your installer's rules.
Contents verified. The SNZB-04P contacts are Zigbee and pair with the ZB Bridge Pro hub; the MINI-D modules are Wi-Fi and appear in the same eWeLink app, where the two are combined into scenes and notifications. The kit includes the Wago 221-413 connectors for wiring the modules, the optional deep 503 back boxes if a module goes behind a push-button, and the Gewiss junction box as an alternative, to house the modules next to the controllers.

Before you order
Do you need a hub?
Yes, for the contacts on the main doors, which are Zigbee: the Sonoff ZB Bridge Pro hub is included. The two MINI-D modules use the Wi-Fi directly. Everything runs in the same eWeLink app.
Is it compatible with my controller?
The MINI-D closes a dry contact, like a push-button: it works with control boards that have a step-by-step or open/close input for an external button, which is most of them. Check the control board's manual or ask your door installer.
Is it safe to operate a main door remotely?
The kit does not touch the door's safety devices: photocells, safety edges and limit switches all stay active. Remote operation must still follow the control unit's safety settings and the installer's instructions, normally with the door in sight. The real state comes from the contacts.
Do you need an electrician?
Yes. The MINI-D modules wire into 230V and to the controller input: the connections must be made by qualified personnel, with the installation isolated, following the manufacturer's diagram. The battery contacts go on with no electrical work.
Does it work with Alexa or Google Home?
The eWeLink app offers integration with Alexa and Google Home, and the MINI-D units support Matter according to the manufacturer. In a warehouse it is better to keep control of the doors to the eWeLink app and to authorised people.
What happens if there is no internet?
The buttons and the door remotes keep working as they always have. From the app, with no line, you cannot control anything remotely or get notifications; some device-to-device scenes may keep working on the local network, depending on what eWeLink supports.
Can I add more industrial doors?
Yes: for each door you add a MINI-D and a contact, paired to the same app and the same hub. Get in touch through the contact page with the number of doors and the control units fitted.
What if a product is out of stock on Amazon?
