What it does
- The two Shelly Pro 2PM units give two metered channels each: four lighting circuits, or two roller shutters or blinds in shutter mode.
- The Shelly Pro Dimmer 1PM dims one dimmable lighting circuit, the meeting room or reception for example.
- The Shelly Pro 3EM-3CT63 meter measures consumption and power on three phases with its three 63A transformers.
- The five-port Shelly LAN Switch, also on DIN rail, wires every Pro module back to the router, with no reliance on Wi-Fi.
- The wall buttons stay the main control; in the app you set schedules, scenes and an evening all-off.
- All consumption, by circuit and by phase, is read in the same app.

How it is installed
Network and switch. The Pro modules need no hub and join the network by cable. The Shelly LAN Switch mounts on DIN rail in the enclosure: the one-metre Cat6 leads join the modules to the switch, and the 10 m cable joins the switch to the office router. Power the switch as the manufacturer specifies.
Pro modules. The Pro 2PM, Pro Dimmer 1PM and Pro 3EM-3CT63 mount on DIN rail in the two 12-module surface enclosures, which take the kit's 11 modules with room to spare. The Pro 2PM units take the lighting circuits or the roller shutter motors and the dimmer takes the dimmable circuit, within the limits the manufacturer gives.
Wiring. The Pro 3EM's transformers clamp around the live conductors upstream of the circuits to be measured. In the boards, use the crimp ferrules on flexible conductors and the Wago connectors for the taps; the module inputs wire to the wall buttons. All 230V wiring is done by a qualified electrician, with the supply isolated.
App and setup. In the Shelly app add the modules, which turn up on the wired network, and rename every channel: “open-plan lights”, “meeting room shutter”, “reception dimmer”. Set roller-shutter mode on the Pro 2PM units driving motors and run the travel calibration. Check all three phases on the meter read positive power.
Recommended automations. All lights off at 20:00, with a button that brings them back for an hour for anyone still working. Roller shutters half down during the sunny hours on the exposed glazing. Reception dimmer at 40% outside office hours. A warning if consumption stays above a threshold with the office closed, and a monthly summary per phase.
Contents verified. The Pro 2PM, Pro Dimmer 1PM, Pro 3EM-3CT63 and LAN Switch are Shelly Pro units on DIN rail and are run from the same app, linked over a wired network. The kit holds two 12-module surface enclosures, for its 11 DIN modules with room to spare, ferrules for wiring inside the board, Wago connectors, one-metre Cat6 cables for the links inside the board and the 10-metre cable for the router.

Before you order
Do you need a hub?
No. The Shelly Pro modules connect to the network by cable through the LAN switch included, or over Wi-Fi. The office router with an internet connection is all you need for remote access from the app.
Does it work with Alexa and Google?
Yes, with the Shelly skill for Alexa and the Shelly integration in Google Home you can control the devices by voice or put them in routines. Shelly devices also work in Home Assistant, locally.
Do you need an electrician?
Yes. This is a kit for the distribution board: DIN-rail modules, transformers on the phases, lighting circuits, motors and push-buttons. Work on 230V must be carried out by qualified personnel, with the installation isolated, ideally while the board is still being designed.
What happens if there is no internet?
The wall buttons carry on controlling lights, dimmers and roller shutters, and the time programmes stay saved in the modules. The meter keeps measuring. Without internet you lose the app from away and voice commands.
Can I control roller shutters and blinds?
Yes. Each Pro 2PM, in roller-shutter mode, drives one shutter or awning motor, with position control once it is calibrated. So the kit gives you up to two roller shutters, or four lighting circuits, or a mix of the two.
Can I add modules?
Yes. The LAN switch has five ports: four for the kit's modules and one back to the router. For more Pro modules you add a second switch or use Wi-Fi; the enclosures have a little room to spare. Get in touch through the contact page for the build.
Are there batteries?
No. All the modules are powered from the distribution board and the buttons are wired: nothing in the kit runs on batteries. After a power cut the modules come back with the settings saved.
