What it does
- The Sonoff THS01 probe measures temperature and humidity in the terrarium and sends them to the TH Elite.
- The TH Elite switches the heat lamp on when the temperature falls below the set value and off when it reaches it, even without internet.
- The TH Elite display shows temperature and humidity at a glance.
- The S60TPF plug switches the UVB lamp on and off at fixed times, for a steady photoperiod.
- The eWeLink app sends a notification if temperature or humidity leaves the range you set.

How to install it
Wi-Fi network. The thermostat and the plug connect to the home 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, with no hub. It is worth checking that the signal reaches the terrarium room properly, especially if the thermostat stays inside the cabinet under the tank. Download the eWeLink app and create the account before you start.
TH Elite thermostat. The TH Elite is powered at 230V and drives the heat lamp from its output, to the manufacturer's diagram: it sits between the supply and the lamp's cable. It is mounted outside the terrarium, in a dry spot, inside the junction box or the back box. The 230V connections must be made by qualified personnel with the system isolated.
Probe and accessories. The THS01 probe plugs into the TH Elite connector and is fixed inside the terrarium, in the zone whose temperature you want to control, out of the lamp's direct beam and out of the animal's reach. The Wago lever connectors are for the joints. Optional: deep 503 back box or Gewiss junction box for the thermostat.
App and pairing. In the eWeLink app you add the TH Elite and the S60TPF plug and connect them to the Wi-Fi. Check that temperature and humidity appear in the app and on the display. Then set thermostat mode with the temperature of the warm zone and a tolerance of one or two degrees, to keep the lamp from switching on too often.
Recommended automations. The most useful ones: heat lamp driven by the thermostat with different day and night temperatures, UVB lamp switched on and off at fixed times by the plug, a notification if the temperature goes above a safety threshold or if the humidity falls below the minimum value. The control stays on the TH Elite even without internet.
Contents verified. The TH Elite 20A takes the Sonoff THS01 temperature and humidity probe, and the S60TPF plug is handled from the same eWeLink app. A pack of Wago lever connectors for wiring the thermostat is included. Optional: a deep 503 back box if the thermostat goes into a wall box, and a Gewiss junction box to mount it near the terrarium.

Before you order
Do you need a hub?
No: the TH Elite and the S60TPF plug connect straight to the home Wi-Fi and are managed from the eWeLink app. All you need is good 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi coverage in the room with the terrarium.
Does it work with Alexa and Google Home?
Yes: Sonoff Wi-Fi devices are added to the eWeLink app and from there connect to Alexa and Google Home through the eWeLink skills. You can ask by voice to switch things on and off and to read out the temperature. Automations are still best set up in eWeLink, where you choose thresholds and times.
Do you need an electrician?
Yes for the TH Elite, which is wired at 230V between the supply and the heat lamp. The 230V connections must be made by qualified personnel with the system isolated. The S60TPF plug for the UVB lamp, on the other hand, you fit yourself.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The TH Elite keeps controlling the heat lamp with the settings it has stored. The plug keeps the schedules already set, as stated by the manufacturer. Notifications, history and remote control resume once the connection is back.
Can I add more devices?
Yes: in the same eWeLink app you can add more Sonoff plugs for misters or daylight lamps, and a second TH Elite with its own probe for another terrarium. For heat mats or heating cables, write to us from the contacts section.
Are there batteries?
No: the thermostat, the probe and the plug are mains-powered. The probe draws its power from the TH Elite through its own cable: there are no batteries to replace. It is just worth keeping the probe clean and away from direct mist.
What if a product is out of stock on Amazon?
Write to us from the contact page quoting the kit code: we will point you to a compatible alternative, checked against the other devices just like the rest of the kit. Avoid swapping an item for a similar one without checking protocol, power supply and type of connection: a different model may not work with the rest of the kit.
