Safiery semi-solid state lithium battery: the ceramic electrolyte replaces almost all the liquid of a conventional cell, so the cell survives the 8 mm nail test without fire and reaches 10,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge. The BMS talks CAN and is Victron compliant: per-cell voltages and temperatures are visible straight on the Victron display.

Slim-case Scotty AI sized to mount directly on a Solid State battery. AI auto-tunes to your alternator; protects it with a thermal sensor.

Scotty AI is an AI-tuned bi-directional DC-DC converter. A two-minute auto-tune maps your alternator's power curve — no programming. A temperature sensor on the alternator housing lets the AI back off (Hard→Medium→Soft) before it overheats. Appears as an alternator on the Victron GUI. This slim-case version mounts on a semi-solid-state battery (battery not included).

How it works

Inside each cell the liquid electrolyte is almost entirely replaced by a semi-solid ceramic one: that is what prevents thermal runaway even when the cell is pierced, and what doubles the life compared with LiFePO4. The battery wires in like any house battery, but it also has a CAN port: connected to a Victron inverter or charger, the BMS reports the voltage, current and temperature of every single cell and decides how much current to accept or deliver. The case is stackable and the connecting straps stay hidden, so a bank of 2, 3 or more batteries goes together with no visible cables. The 12V and 48V versions share the same footprint.
