The Canadian Solar EP CUBE All in One module is a lithium iron phosphate storage battery of 5 kWh for PV systems with a hybrid inverter, in a low voltage configuration.
LiFePO4 chemistry contains no cobalt, copes well with temperature and offers a long cycle life: it is the standard of residential storage. The on-board BMS monitors voltage, current and temperature of every cell and talks to the inverter, which decides when to charge and when to discharge according to generation and consumption.
