PV String Design

Calculated configuration: 4 independent strings of 5 modules across the 2 MPPTs. Operating voltage Vmp 167.5 V, Voc at 25°C 201.5 V, conservative Voc at −25°C 225.7 V — within the inverter's 500 V limit and within the 90–435 V MPPT window. Module used: Trina Vertex S+ 505 W N-Type TOPCon bifacial Full Black (Vmp 33.5 V, Voc 40.3 V, Imp 15.09 A, Voc coefficient -0.24%/°C). DC/AC oversizing ratio: 1.26×. Preliminary configuration: to be re-checked against the datasheet of the revision actually purchased and the site conditions.

Storage, Grid and Operation

  • !The CEI 0-21 standard generally limits single-phase generating systems to 6 kW: for an 8 kW single-phase inverter, the feasibility of the connection must be checked with the grid operator, or the power exported to the grid must be limited.

A consistent, well-engineered system

The kit uses selected components and a PV configuration sized to the inverter’s electrical limits, for a robust, consistent commercial or industrial system ready for installation by qualified personnel. The kit includes only the specified PV panels, inverter and combined AC/DC protection panel. A dedicated AC panel for this size is not currently available in our catalogue: it must be selected and ordered separately based on the inverter's rated current. Mounting structures, cables, connectors and installation are not included and must be sized by the installer to suit the site. Installation and grid connection must be carried out by licensed personnel.
