Temperature of 2 ovens with PT100 probes up to 500 °C, of refrigerators and blast chiller with probes in a buffer bottle, temperature and humidity in the proving chamber, fine dust and air quality in the workshop, methane detector near the oven. LoRaWAN radio transmission, data and alarms from the app.
What it does
- Two sensors with a high-temperature PT100 probe follow the oven chamber: time to come up to temperature, stability during baking, an oven left on at the end of the shift.
- Two sensors with an external probe, inserted into a buffer bottle, record the temperature of refrigerators and blast chiller without the false alarms caused by door openings; they store 4,000 readings on board.
- Two temperature and humidity sensors in the proving or retarder chamber show whether the climate you set is the real one.
- The air quality sensor measures PM2.5 and PM10, CO2, volatile organic compounds, temperature, humidity and pressure: you can see how much flour stays airborne and whether the extraction is working.
- The gas detector, on the wall near the gas oven, gives an audible alarm on site and a notification on your phone when methane is present.
- Thresholds and notifications on your smartphone; history and charts from a PC, exportable for your self-monitoring plan.

Available sizes
The size is chosen at the top, together with version and connectivity. The diagram, the photo and the table above show the «2 ovens and 2 refrigerators» size; with the other sizes only the quantities of the devices listed below change, the rest of the kit is identical.
- 2 ovens and 2 refrigerators: 2 PT100 temperature sensors for high temperatures, 2 temperature sensors with probe, 2 buffer bottles
- 3 ovens and 4 refrigerators: 3 PT100 temperature sensors for high temperatures, 4 temperature sensors with probe, 4 buffer bottles
In the complete kit the installation material linked to these devices (brackets, pockets, clips, cables, boxes) follows the size chosen. For a different size write to us from the contact section.
Available connectivity
- Customer network (Ethernet/Wi-Fi): 1 compact indoor LoRaWAN gateway

- Large building 4G: 1 semi-industrial LoRaWAN gateway with 4G. SIM not included
In the complete kit the material for the gateway changes accordingly as well (network cable, pole, PoE injector). The SIM for the 4G versions is not included.

Before ordering
Is an internet connection needed in the workshop?
It is needed at the point where the gateway is installed: a network socket or Wi-Fi coverage, usually in the shop or in the office. The sensors do not use Wi-Fi, they talk to the gateway by radio. If there is no line on the premises, the version with a 4G gateway is available, which requires a data SIM (not included, any operator, less than 1 GB of traffic per month). It is chosen when ordering.
Does the signal get out of refrigerators, chambers and ovens?
The transmitter bodies of ovens, refrigerators and blast chiller are on the outside: only the probe is inside. The sensors in the proving chamber transmit from the inside and a metal chamber attenuates the radio signal: with the gateway a few metres away it is usually enough, otherwise the sensor is moved close to the door. In a building the range depends on walls and floors. For large workshops, underground or on several floors choose the «large building» version: a gateway with more range, IP65, which can also be mounted in the workshop.
Can the probe be fitted to any oven?
An entry point provided by the manufacturer is needed: a pocket, a probe holder or a service hole. The chamber is not drilled and the probe does not replace the oven's own: it is a second independent measurement, with history and alarms. The range reaches 500 °C; the transmitter body must stay below 70 °C. If you do not know where to insert the probe, write to us from the contact section with the make and model of the oven.
Are the recordings valid for HACCP?
The refrigerator and blast chiller sensors are declared compliant with the EN 12830 standard on temperature recorders and the manufacturer indicates them for the continuous monitoring of critical points; they store 4,000 readings and retransmit them after an interruption. The proving chamber sensors are EN 12830 compliant as well. How to include them in your plan is decided by whoever draws it up.
Does the dust sensor measure exposure to flour?
No. It measures PM2.5 and PM10 at the point where it is mounted, up to 1,000 µg/m³: it shows when flour stays airborne, whether the extraction is working and how the air changes between mixing and cleaning. It is not a measurement of the personal exposure of workers and it does not assess the risk of dust explosion: for those, the sampling and the assessments required by law are needed. It is IP30: it must not go where flour visibly settles.
Is the gas detector also suitable for LPG?
No: it only detects methane, that is mains gas. It has an 85 dB siren, a relay output and an output for a 12 V pulse solenoid valve; the measuring cell lasts 5 years, then the detector has to be replaced. It is IP30 and the manufacturer does not recommend dusty environments: it must be mounted where flour does not reach. It is a monitoring aid and does not replace the mandatory detection systems and inspections.
I have more ovens or more refrigerators
The kit is configured on the workshop: every extra oven requires a sensor with a PT100 probe, every refrigerator a sensor with a buffer bottle; gateway and platform stay the same. Among the product options you will find the size with 3 ovens and 4 refrigerators. For different situations write to us from the contact section stating equipment and rooms: we will send you the composition and the quotation for the adapted kit.
Battery life
Oven probes: up to 10 years with one reading every 10 minutes. Refrigerator and blast chiller sensors: about 8 years. Proving chamber sensors: 10 years. The air quality sensor, with the dust measurement always active, lasts about a year and a half on batteries: it is better to power it from USB-C 5 V. Replaceable lithium batteries, level visible in the app. The gas detector has no battery.
Where is the data viewed and are there any fees?
On the app and on the portal of the manufacturer, from smartphone and PC, with charts, thresholds and notifications; no fee for basic use. If a production management system is in place, the gateway can also send the data to that system (MQTT or HTTP): the configuration is included.
Is an electrician needed and what happens without internet?
An electrician is only needed if you want to connect a solenoid valve or an extractor fan to the gas detector. The rest is battery or plug powered. Without internet the sensors keep measuring, store the readings and retransmit them when the line comes back; the gas detector sounds on site anyway. Notifications on your phone resume when the connection returns.
