FoxESS CQ16-S 16.07 kWh LiFePO4 High-Voltage Battery Module, 314 Ah
The CQ16 is the big module of the CQ range: 314 Ah and 16.07 kWh in one unit, more than twice a CQ7. A tower needs at least four modules and takes up to fifteen, so 64.28 to 241.05 kWh: this is small-commercial scale, not a family home.
A single module runs at 51.2 V nominal (46.4–58.4 V) and takes 240 A charging and discharging, with peaks of 470 A for one minute: these are figures for a plant that has to absorb motor inrush, not just shift domestic consumption. Useful depth of discharge is 90%, so about 14.46 kWh per module. It has built-in fire protection.
Two things to plan before ordering. First: you need one CQ BOX per system, the control unit that manages the tower, ordered separately. Second: protection is IP20 and installation is indoors, floor standing — this module does not go outside. About 128 kg per module, 390 × 235 × 810 mm, intelligent air cooling, CAN communication. IEC 62619 and UN 38.3 certified.
