⛽ Smart generator management: the system can use a generator as an AC source to power the loads and recharge the batteries. Paired with the Cerbo GX, its start and stop can be automated based on battery state and other parameters, avoiding needlessly keeping it running and reducing fuel consumption.

Professional Victron Energy 48V, 5kVA inverter/charger, the heart of the off-grid system. Its AC input can also be used with a power generator, which can power the loads while simultaneously recharging the batteries. Paired with the Cerbo GX, generator management can be automated based on battery state and system needs, reducing running hours and fuel consumption.

High-performance MPPT solar charge controller for making the most of the energy produced by the panels and efficiently managing battery charging.

A Complete, Intelligent, Connected Victron System
Combining the MultiPlus, SmartSolar MPPT, and Cerbo GX makes it possible to build an advanced off-grid system, in which solar production, batteries, inverter, consumption, and energy sources can all be controlled and monitored centrally.
Through the Victron VRM portal you can also monitor the system remotely, checking production, battery status, consumption, historical data, and overall system operation.

The Victron ecosystem can communicate directly, or through protocols, gateways, and integrations, with numerous devices and platforms available on the market, making it possible to build very advanced energy and home-automation systems. These include: Home Assistant, Shelly, Node-RED, MQTT, Modbus TCP, Signal K, Fronius, SMA, SolarEdge, ABB, Carlo Gavazzi, Wakespeed, Arco Zeus, Garmin, Raymarine, Simrad, B&G, Lowrance, Furuno, NMEA 2000, RV-C, Grafana, InfluxDB, Raspberry Pi, and PLC/SCADA systems.
This openness makes it possible to build custom automations and logic: switching loads on or off based on solar production or battery state, controlling relays and smart devices, managing the generator, collecting data, receiving alarms, controlling external devices, and monitoring the entire system remotely.
Protection boxes not included: DC isolators, fuses and surge protection devices (SPD) on the PV string side and the protection on the inverter’s AC output must be selected by the installer according to the maximum voltage of the MPPT charge controllers and the system design.
