Acrel ADW300 Three-Phase IoT Wireless Energy Meter RS485 and LoRa Class 1
The ADW300 is a three-phase energy meter built for cases where the point you need to measure is far from where the data is read: besides wired RS485 it carries a LoRa radio, a low-power long-range link that gets through walls and yards without a data cable. It is the practical way to meter a sub-board, a substation or a detached shed.
It measures what you actually need in order to understand a three-phase load: voltage, current, power and power factor on all three phases, plus active energy. It also logs maximum demand, the figure that tells you whether the contracted power is sized right or you are paying avoidable penalties. Accuracy class is 1.0, fit for monitoring and for splitting consumption internally.
A warning about the radio: the LoRa band listed for this part number is 470MHz, which is the Chinese band and not the one used in Europe. Before ordering it is worth having Acrel confirm the variant with the correct band for Europe, since the ADW300 series is also declared available with other radios: 4G, Wi-Fi and LoRaWAN. If radio reading is not essential, the wired RS485 works regardless.
Permitted mains frequency is 50-60Hz and the meter carries CE, IEC and LVD certificates.
