Sofar 40KTLX-G3 String Inverter 40 kW Three-phase 4 MPPT
The Sofar 40KTLX-G3 is a transformerless three-phase string inverter rated 40 kW for grid-connected PV systems. It handles up to 60000 Wp of array across 4 independent MPP trackers, so roof planes with different tilt and azimuth can be wired separately without yield losses.
Peak efficiency reaches 98.6% and European efficiency 98.2%: conversion stays efficient even in weak light, because MPP tracking already works from 140 V. Cooling is by natural convection with no fans, so there are no wearing moving parts and operation is silent.
The enclosure is IP65 and the operating range spans -30 to +60 °C, so the unit can be installed outdoors. Built-in protections include a DC switch, reverse-polarity protection, anti-islanding, leakage-current monitoring and Type II surge arresters on both DC and AC side. Monitoring runs over RS485, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi with the SolarMAN app.
