The Trina Solar TSM-620NEG19RC.20 is a 620 W bifacial dual glass module from the Vertex N family, built on 210R rectangular wafers with 132 N-type i-TOPCon half-cells. The laminate uses two 2.0 mm heat-strengthened glass sheets, the front one high transmittance with an anti-reflective coating; the bifaciality factor of 80 % ± 5 % lets the rear face convert light reflected off the mounting surface, adding energy without taking up any extra area.
With 23.0 % efficiency in a 2382 × 1134 mm format, this panel is built for commercial, industrial and utility scale projects: ballasted flat roofs, warehouses, solar carports and ground-mounted parks, where the bifacial gain over light-coloured surfaces can be worth several percentage points of annual production. N-type i-TOPCon cells are immune to LID, show a power temperature coefficient of -0.29 %/°C and an NMOT of 43 °C, and deliver better yield in low light conditions than P-type PERC cells. The glass-glass structure ensures high resistance to moisture, ammonia and salt mist, with a 30-year linear power warranty.
