Collection: Victron Energy – Battery Monitor BMV & SmartShunt

Victron Energy battery monitors: the SmartShunt 500A/50mV IP21 with Bluetooth and no display, the BMV-712 Smart with a display and a 500A shunt, together with the Cyrix-Li-ct, Cyrix-Li-Charge and Cyrix-Li-load relays that complete the protection of the system.

The shunt is installed on the battery negative and measures every amp going in and out: from that count come the real state of charge, time remaining, voltage, temperature and cycle history, data that a voltage reading alone cannot give on a LiFePO4 pack.

Between the SmartShunt and the BMV-712 the choice is about the interface: the first is read only from the app, the second has the display on board.
