Fox ESS EQ3300-H 3.2kWh 64V High Voltage Master Battery with Heating
The Fox ESS EQ3300-H is the master module of the EQ high voltage storage stack: it carries the management system that watches every cell and talks to the hybrid inverter over CAN. In a solar installation it banks the energy generated during the day and releases it in the evening or when the grid is down.
A master on its own is not a storage system: the stack is completed with EQ3300 slave modules in series, up to 19.2kWh in total. This version has built-in heating, which widens the usable temperature range and makes it the right choice for garages, cellars and unheated plant rooms. Heated and non-heated modules can share the same system, but if a single battery in the stack does not support heating the function is disabled system-wide.
The cells are lithium iron phosphate and the declared depth of discharge is 90%. The module delivers 1600W continuously, 3200W for five minutes and peaks at 4160W for fifteen seconds — enough for the inrush of a heat pump or a motor. Mounting is plug-in, with no wiring to prepare. Installation and commissioning must be carried out by qualified personnel.
