The Tesla 2051086-00-A split-core ferrite is the part you clamp around a cable to damp high-frequency electromagnetic noise. It is a passive component: nothing to wire up, it simply raises the cable impedance in the band where noise lives, while the useful signal or current passes through untouched.

Being a split core, it comes in two halves that snap together: it goes onto a cable that is already routed and already terminated, with no connector to undo and no connection to break. The 18mm bore takes a single cable or a small bundle, and the declared impedance is 52Ω at 5MHz.

It is an accessory for Tesla energy storage systems, to be fitted wherever the system installation manual calls for one, typically on power or communication cables so the installation stays inside its electromagnetic compatibility limits. It weighs 100g and needs no wiring at all.
