The catalogue's ESS and container format batteries: GoodWe ESA all-in-one units of 125kW and 261kWh, Deye GE-F240 systems of 241kWh, Deye BOS-A rack modules of 7.68kWh to build clusters and Litio Store BESS containers up to 1000kW and 2,570kWh.

ESS stands for Energy Storage System: not a battery but an installation, where cells, BMS, converter, cooling and fire protection are integrated and tested together. The advantage is that only the electrical connection is left on site, which cuts installation time and risk a long way.

Sizing starts from the load profile: power in kW for the peaks, energy in kWh or MWh for the duration required.
