What it does
- The four Shelly 1 Mini Gen3 modules switch four lighting points on and off, with different times for each day.
- The two Shelly 2PM Gen3 in shutter mode raise and lower two roller shutters, following sunrise and sunset if you want.
- The two Shelly BLU contacts on the door and the window send a notification if they are opened while you are away.
- The Sonoff CAM-B1P 2K outdoor camera covers the entrance and records to microSD.
- When you get back, lights and shutters go back to working normally from the switches and from the app.

How it is installed
Wi-Fi network. No hub is needed: the Shelly modules and the camera connect straight to the home Wi-Fi on 2.4GHz. The BLU contacts talk over Bluetooth to the Shelly Gen3 modules, which act as gateways as the manufacturer describes: one module in the same area as the contacts is enough. Check the Wi-Fi where the outdoor camera goes as well.
Lighting and roller-shutter modules. Pick lighting points visible from the street, in different rooms. The 1 Mini Gen3 modules go in the switch boxes, the 2PM Gen3 units in the roller shutter push-button boxes, wired to the motor's up and down cores. Work on 230V is to be carried out by qualified personnel with the supply isolated. The existing switches keep working.
Contacts, camera and wiring. The BLU contacts stick to the frame with the magnet on the opening leaf. The camera goes on the front wall, under cover, with the High Endurance microSD fitted and the USB power supply included. Wago connectors for the joints; the IP65 enclosures and IP68 glands are for modules mounted outside, for example at porch lights or external shutter boxes.
App and pairing. In the Shelly app add the modules with the Wi-Fi procedure, set the 2PM Gen3 units to roller-shutter mode and run the travel calibration. Then add the BLU contacts as Bluetooth devices, pairing each with the nearest module. The camera is added in the eWeLink app. Name the rooms, so you can build believable schedules.
Recommended automations. Roller shutters down at sunset and up in the morning, a few minutes apart from one day to the next. Living room light on in the evening until 23:00, bedroom light after that, bathroom light for a few minutes. Different times at the weekend. A door or window opened while you are away: a notification. Check the entrance video after every notification.
Contents verified. The 1 Mini Gen3 and 2PM Gen3 modules and the BLU contacts are all Shelly and run in the same app: the Gen3 modules act as Bluetooth gateways for the contacts, so no hub is needed. The Sonoff camera runs on Wi-Fi with eWeLink. Accessories included: Wago connectors for the module joints, IP65 weatherproof boxes and IP68 glands for the modules outdoors, a High Endurance microSD for the camera and the 5V USB power supply that does not come in the box.

Before you order
Do you need a hub?
No. The Shelly modules and the camera connect to the home Wi-Fi. The BLU contacts use Bluetooth and go through the Shelly Gen3 modules, which act as gateways as the manufacturer describes. All you need is one module close enough to the contacts.
Does it work with Alexa and Google?
Yes: the Shelly devices connect to Alexa and Google Home through the Shelly integration, the Sonoff camera through the eWeLink integration. You can run lights and roller shutters by voice when you are in the house and leave the schedules to the Shelly app when you are away.
Do you need an electrician?
Yes: the modules for lights and roller shutters run at 230V and must be fitted behind the switches and push-buttons by qualified personnel with the installation isolated. The contacts and the camera, on the other hand, go up with no work on the wiring.
Do the shutters have to be motorised already?
Yes. Each Shelly 2PM Gen3 in roller-shutter mode drives one shutter with an electric motor and up/down push-buttons. Shutters on a manual strap have to be motorised first, a separate job that is not part of the kit.
What happens if there is no internet?
The light and shutter schedules are stored on the Shelly modules and keep running without internet. You will not get the contact notifications, though, and you cannot see the camera from outside; the camera carries on recording to microSD as set.
Are batteries included?
The BLU contacts use a CR2032 button cell, supplied as the manufacturer states; the level is shown in the Shelly app. Modules and camera are mains-powered. Before a long trip it is worth checking the contacts' charge.
Can I add devices?
Yes: more modules for more rooms, more contacts for the windows, flood sensors or a second camera. Every Shelly device goes into the same app and the same presence-simulation schedules, with no need to set things up again.
What if a product is out of stock on Amazon?
