What it does
- Rotate or turn the T1 Pro cube and you start different scenes: cinema, full light, pause.
- In the cinema scene the E1 motor closes the curtains, the T1M ceiling light dims to its lowest level and the strip behind the TV comes on in a soft shade.
- With the pause scene the lights come up just enough to move around, and when the film ends the blinds open again.
- The M2 hub with its infrared emitter can switch on compatible TVs, projectors or air conditioners.
- The T1M ceiling light has tunable white light and a ring of coloured light, within the model's functions.
- All the lights and blinds can also be controlled from the app and by voice with the connected assistants.

How to install it
Hub and network. The M2 hub is USB powered and sits on a piece of living room furniture with a clear line of sight to the TV and the air conditioner, for infrared control. In the Aqara Home app you create the account, add the hub and connect it to the home 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi or to the router with a network cable. The hub handles all the Zigbee devices in the kit.
Ceiling light and curtains. The T1M ceiling light replaces the existing ceiling fitting and connects to the lighting circuit as the manufacturer instructs. The 230V connections must be made with the system isolated, by someone competent or by an electrician. The E1 motor fits onto the curtain track, where the manufacturer lists it as compatible, and has a rechargeable battery.
LED strip and cube. The T1 LED strip sticks behind the TV or under the cabinet, on a clean surface, and is powered by its own adapter in a nearby socket; the cables are routed behind the furniture. The T1 Pro cube is battery powered and can be left on the coffee table. The kit needs no other accessories.
App and pairing. In the app, select the hub, tap add device and follow the procedure for each item, close to the hub. For the E1 motor, set the curtain travel. In the M2 hub, add the infrared remote for the TV or the air conditioner, either picking the model from the list or recording the buttons.
Recommended automations. Assign the cube's faces and movements to scenes: a rotation starts the cinema scene with the blinds closed, the ceiling light at minimum, the strip dimmed and the TV on; a double tap starts the pause scene; another face gives full light with the blinds open. You can also schedule the blinds to open in the morning.
Contents verified. The T1M ceiling light, the T1 LED strip, the E1 motor and the T1 Pro cube are all Aqara and are managed from the M2 hub, which adds infrared control for the TV and the air conditioner. The kit contains no accessories: the ceiling light uses the existing wiring, the strip its own power supply, and the motor and the cube their own batteries.

Before you order
Do you need a hub?
Yes, and it is included: the Aqara M2 hub runs the lights, the curtains and the cube over Zigbee and has an infrared emitter for the TV and the air conditioner. A single hub is enough for the living room and for other Aqara devices around the house.
Does it work with Alexa, Google or Apple?
The kit is managed from the Aqara Home app, where the automations are created. The hub brings the devices into Apple Home where Aqara supports it and, through Matter, into Alexa and Google Home as well; support varies by device type. Automations are best kept in the Aqara app, which runs them on the hub.
Do you need an electrician?
The ceiling light calls for someone competent: it is wired to the existing lighting line, with the system isolated; if that is not you, call an electrician. Everything else is DIY: the motor on the track, the adhesive strip, the cube and the hub simply set down.
What happens if the internet goes down?
According to the manufacturer, automations between devices on the same hub can keep running locally as long as the hub and the home Wi-Fi are on, and manual controls still work. Without internet you cannot control the house from outside, you get no notifications and the voice assistants may not respond.
Can I add more devices?
Yes. You can add more curtain motors, bulbs, buttons and Aqara sensors to the same hub, plus more infrared remotes for the living-room appliances. Every extra device is paired with the same guided procedure in the app.
Are batteries included?
The T1 Pro cube runs on the coin cell supplied by the manufacturer. The E1 motor has a built-in rechargeable battery, charged over USB as per the instructions. The ceiling light, the LED strip and the hub are mains powered.
Will the motor suit my curtains?
The E1 track motor fits compatible tracks, as stated by the manufacturer: there are separate versions for tracks and for curtain rods. It is not suitable for roller blinds or roller shutters. If you are not sure, write to us from the contacts section with a photo of the track.
What if a product is out of stock on Amazon?
