The Aqara FP2 presence sensor knows when you are at the desk, even sitting still: it switches on the metering smart plug feeding the lamp or the monitor and turns everything off when you leave. The W100 climate sensor shows temperature and humidity, and the Sonoff AirGuard monitor measures CO2 and reminds you to open the window.
What it does
- The FP2 uses millimetre-wave technology to detect presence even when you are sitting still at the computer, and it recognises the zones you draw, such as the desk and the sofa.
- As soon as you sit down, the H2 plug switches the lamp or the monitor on; when you leave the room for a few minutes, it switches them off.
- The plug measures what is connected to it.
- The W100 sensor shows temperature and humidity on its display and sends them to the app.
- The Sonoff AirGuard measures CO2: above the threshold you choose you get an alert to open the window.
- With scenes you can combine presence, climate and schedules, for example switching everything off at the end of the day.

Before you order
Do you need a hub?
Yes, and it is included: the Aqara M100 hub runs the H2 plug and the W100 sensor and executes the automations. The FP2 connects to the Wi-Fi but is used in the same app; the Sonoff AirGuard is added over Matter.
Does it work with Alexa, Google or Apple?
The kit is managed from the Aqara Home app, where the automations are created. The hub brings the devices into Apple Home where Aqara supports it and, through Matter, into Alexa and Google Home as well; support varies by device type. Automations are best kept in the Aqara app, which runs them on the hub.
Do you need an electrician?
No. The hub, the FP2 and the AirGuard run off the USB power supplies included, the plug goes into a wall socket and the W100 is battery-powered. All you need is a drill or some double-sided tape to fix the FP2 in place.
What happens if the internet goes down?
According to the manufacturer, automations between devices on the same hub can keep running locally as long as the hub and the home Wi-Fi are on, and manual controls still work. Without internet you cannot control the house from outside, you get no notifications and the voice assistants may not respond.
Can I add more devices?
Yes. You can add more plugs, bulbs, window sensors or a thermostatic valve to the same hub. Other Matter devices are added to whichever Matter controller you use. Every extra device is paired with the same guided procedure in the app.
Are batteries included?
The W100 sensor runs on the coin cell specified by the manufacturer; check the box to see whether it is included. The hub, the FP2 and the AirGuard are powered by the kit's USB adapters, and the smart plug from the mains.
How is the CO2 monitor connected?
The Sonoff AirGuard is a Sonoff device: it is set up with the eWeLink app and added through Matter to whichever controller you use, such as Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa or the Aqara hub where it supports that device, as stated by the manufacturers. The CO2 alerts work from the eWeLink app alone as well.
