SolarEdge Home Network SE-ANT-ENET-HB-01 External Antenna
The SolarEdge SE-ANT-ENET-HB-01 is the external antenna of the SolarEdge Home Network (EnergyNet), the proprietary wireless communication platform through which SolarEdge inverters talk to batteries, meters, load control and the other devices of the Smart Energy ecosystem, without dedicated cabling.
The SolarEdge Home Network is a sub-GHz mesh network which in Europe works in the 863-870 MHz band with O-QPSK modulation and a receive sensitivity of -100 dBm; the indoor range, without line of sight, is about 50 metres. The external antenna serves precisely to ensure maximum coverage when the inverter is installed in shielded positions. The permitted temperature range goes from -40 to +85 °C and the warranty on the communication components is 5 years.
