Hager ESC425 Modular Contactor 25 A 4NO 230 V AC Coil
The Hager ESC425 is a modular contactor for switchboards with four normally open contacts (4NO) and a rating of 25 A, controlled by a 230 V AC 50 Hz coil. It is installed on a 35 mm DIN rail and takes up 2 modules; it is the typical device for the remote control of alternating current loads in residential, commercial and photovoltaic switchboards.
It is used to switch three-phase lines or several single-phase circuits simultaneously: lighting, heat pumps, heating elements and switchable loads, consumption management controlled by a time switch, by a photovoltaic surplus relay or by a home automation system. The declared utilisation categories AC-7a and AC-7b define its suitability for slightly and highly inductive household loads. The device offers a rated insulation voltage of 440 V, an impulse withstand of 4 kV, a mechanical life of 100,000 operations and an electrical life of 30,000 operations. It can be completed with the ESC080 auxiliary contact for status signalling.
