ATS Switchgear with Smart Meter for Fronius Symo GEN24 Three-Phase Hybrid Inverters
ATS switchgear for automatic grid/emergency transfer, dedicated to Fronius Symo GEN24 and Symo Hybrid three-phase hybrid inverters with storage, complete with a smart meter for measuring the energy exchanged with the grid. When the grid voltage fails, the board disconnects the system from the public grid and activates the emergency supply of the priority loads from the battery and the photovoltaic generator.
Transfer takes about 60 seconds, the typical time of the full backup function of GEN24 inverters, which requires the inverter to restart in island mode: it is therefore not the absolute continuity of a UPS. The board is wall-mounted downstream of the inverter, keeps the grid and backup circuits separate and is supplied pre-wired in a halogen-free plastic enclosure with IP65 protection rating.
