SolarEdge S1500-1GMZMBWD Power Optimizer 1500 W for 2 Modules in Series
The SolarEdge S1500 power optimizer is the S-Series DC/DC converter for large commercial and utility installations, designed to manage two PV modules connected in series with a single device. This configuration halves the number of optimizers required compared with the module-by-module solution, reducing installation time and system costs while still maintaining maximum power point tracking optimization on the pair of modules.
The version with the ZMBWD suffix is fitted with two 1.8 m input cables and a positive output cable of approximately 5.8 m, with MC4 connectors. It supports high-power modules up to 700 W and high currents up to 20 A. It ensures performance monitoring on the SolarEdge ONE platform and the SafeDC safety function, which automatically reduces the output voltage of each optimizer to about 1 V when the inverter is switched off.
