SMA Home Storage Base Unit HS-BU-10 Floor Support Base
The SMA Home Storage Base Unit HS-BU-10 is the floor support plinth of the SMA Home Storage storage system, built with the HS-BM-3.28-10 battery modules rated 3.28 kWh LiFePO4. It is placed on the ground as the base element of the column: the battery modules are then stacked on top of it, secured with the supplied brackets.
The Base Unit is an optional accessory, an alternative to wall mounting of the modules: it is recommended when no suitable wall is available or when a free-standing tower is required. It is made of weather-resistant metal and is fitted with 4 adjustable feet for levelling on floors that are not perfectly flat; installation increases the overall height of the system by approximately 106 mm. Up to 3 battery modules can be stacked on a single Base Unit. The SMA Home Storage system is compatible with the Sunny Tripower Smart Energy and Sunny Boy Smart Energy hybrid inverters.
