The GoodWe GW8.3-BAT-D-G20 is the larger battery module of the ESA series, GoodWe's high voltage all-in-one storage system in which the power module and the battery modules are stacked in a single column. Each module offers 8.32 kWh of nominal energy (8 kWh usable) with LiFePO4 cells and an integrated BMS; up to 12 modules per column can be stacked and the ESA system is scalable from 5 to 108 kWh.

Compared with the 5.12 kWh module, the GW8.3-BAT-D-G20 delivers up to 8 kW continuous with a peak of 12 kW for 10 seconds, with a maximum current of 19 A on the input side and 21 A on the output side. Nominal voltage of 380 V in discharge and 420 V in charge, operating range 350-550 V in single-phase systems and 700-950 V in three-phase ones, CAN communication, IP66 protection rating and a stated life of more than 8,000 cycles. The module works with the single-phase ESA power modules from GW3KEHA-G20 to GW10KEHA-G20 and is also indicated as a battery for the GoodWe ET 15-30 kW and ET G2 inverters.
