The SolarEdge BAT-05K48M0B-02 is the module of the SolarEdge Home Battery 48V, the low voltage battery of the SolarEdge Home ecosystem. Each module provides 4.6 kWh of usable energy and works in a DC voltage range between 44.8 and 56.5 Vdc.
Up to 5 modules can be connected in parallel on a single inverter, for a maximum of about 23 kWh of storage. The module communicates over RS485 towards the other modules and over CAN towards the inverter, has a cycle efficiency higher than 94.5% and a protection rating of IP65 / NEMA 3R that also allows outdoor installation. The declared warranty is 10 years. It must be paired with the SolarEdge Home Hub and StorEdge inverters listed in the official SolarEdge compatibility matrix.
