The WeCo 5K3 EVO (code B00110) is a 5.22 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery module with dual voltage: the same module can work at low voltage at 51.2 V, in parallel up to 15 units (105 with the LV HUB), or at high voltage by connecting from 2 to 17 modules in series through the HV BOX, with the possibility of connecting up to 10 clusters in parallel. This version is supplied with the HV kit included.
The module integrates an intelligent BMS with automatic 16-channel balancing, a cell heating system for operation in cold climates and an integrated fire suppression system. The protection rating is IP66 in high voltage configuration (IP64 at low voltage), the depth of discharge reaches up to 98% and the declared life exceeds 7,000 cycles at 25 °C. Communication takes place over CAN and RS232 ports (in addition to RS485 and a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth dongle), with declared compatibility with numerous inverter brands including Deye, GoodWe, Ingeteam, Schneider, SMA, Solis and Studer.
