Ten square millimetres is the cross-section you need when strings are long or current is high and you do not want to give away energy in voltage drop. The 100-metre reel is the site format: you cut what you need and never run out halfway along a run.
Single-core, red: use it paired with the other colour so the poles are distinguishable at a glance, which on a solar array is not a nicety but safety. MC4 connectors are ordered separately.
