The SM-ASVG-3-0.4-4L-CW is an active compensator rated 3 kVAr for 0.4 kV networks: instead of switching capacitor steps, it generates in real time the current needed to bring the power factor back to the set value. Total response time is below 10 ms.
Besides reactive power it filters harmonics from the 2nd to the 50th and rebalances the asymmetry between the three phases: three problems that on a site with PV inverters, drives and single-phase loads almost always appear together. It works in a 3L + N + PE configuration between 304 and 456 V, with efficiency above 97%, an on-board 4.3-inch colour touch display and RS485 Modbus communication.
