Acrel ADL400W-CT/WF Three-Phase Energy Meter with CTs Wi-Fi 2 Circuits Class 0.5
The ADL400W-CT/WF is the meter you reach for when the reading has to get to the inverter or the EMS without pulling a serial cable: it has built-in Wi-Fi (or a LoRa radio instead) and speaks Modbus TCP and HTTP. That is the difference between fitting the meter where it belongs — in the main board, next to the connection point — and fitting it wherever the cable happens to reach.
It is a three-phase bidirectional meter with two measuring circuits, connected through external current transformers, so it can be fitted on lines already in service without breaking the conductors. Class 0.5 is what you need when the reading is not just displayed but used for control: on this reading the system decides anti-backflow, generation control and battery charge and discharge.
Acrel places it in distributed generation: grid-tied PV, microinverter systems, storage and AC coupled systems. The compact 35mm DIN rail format fits a domestic board without taking half a row. The two circuits let you measure generation and grid exchange separately with a single device.
