Hager ESC080 Auxiliary Contact 1NO+1NC 6 A 250 V for ESC and SBN Contactors
The Hager ESC080 is a modular auxiliary contact that clips onto the side of the ESC series modular contactors and of the switches/isolators of the SBN series. It makes the status of the device it is coupled to available externally, without interfering with the power circuits.
It provides one normally open contact (1NO) and one normally closed contact (1NC) rated 6 A at 250 V, which can be used for remote signalling (indicator lamps, digital inputs of PLCs or dataloggers), for interlocking with other devices or for enabling auxiliary circuits. It takes up only half a DIN module (11 mm) on the 35 mm rail and is connected with screw terminals that accept conductors from 1 to 6 mm². It is a typical accessory of automation panels and photovoltaic switchboards in which the position of a contactor or an isolator has to be monitored.
