Noark 108367 Ex9L-N RCCB 4P 63 A 100 mA Type A
The Noark 108367 is a pure residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) of the Ex9L-N series in a four-pole version, with a rated current of 63 A and a rated residual current of 100 mA, Type A. It takes up 4 modules on the DIN rail and has a rated conditional short-circuit current of 6 kA.
The 63 A size makes it suitable for the role of main residual current device in a three-phase board, upstream of several lines that are already individually protected. The 100 mA threshold is an intermediate choice: it ensures protection against indirect contact and against the risk of fire caused by earth faults, but is less prone than a 30 mA device to nuisance tripping caused by the sum of the natural leakage currents of many loads in parallel. Type A guarantees tripping even with pulsating unidirectional residual current components. Operation is independent of the mains voltage. Being a pure RCCB it does not protect against overload and short circuit and always requires coordination with miniature circuit breakers.
