Solis S6-GR1P0.8K-UM Ultra Mini 0.8kW Single-Phase String Inverter Plug&Play

The Solis S6-GR1P0.8K-UM, known as the Ultra Mini, is the 0.8kW single-phase string inverter in the S6 family: it turns what one or two modules produce into alternating current and feeds it into the household circuits. It does not manage batteries — production is its only job, which makes it the classic choice for a small balcony or carport array.

It weighs 2.9kg and goes onto its bracket in minutes; a plug with protective contact is supplied, so connection is Plug&Play. Wi-Fi is built in, so output can be read straight away with no extra hardware, and the power factor is adjustable. The wide input voltage window leaves room to extend the array later on.

The manufacturer declares certification for Germany and Austria: for an installation elsewhere, compliance with the local grid connection rules has to be confirmed with the network operator, as for any grid-feeding device. The connection is in any case work for qualified personnel.
