The three-phase Solis 17 kW string inverter (S5-GR3P17K) converts the energy produced by the photovoltaic array into three-phase alternating current and is intended for medium-to-large residential systems and small commercial installations. It is a grid-tie inverter: it works only when connected to the electricity grid and does not manage storage batteries.
