Fox ESS H3-15.0-Smart 15kW Three-Phase Hybrid Inverter HV 3 MPPT
The H3-15.0-Smart is the 15kW three-phase hybrid inverter in the Fox ESS H3 Smart range: it converts what the array produces, manages charging and discharging of a high voltage battery and keeps the loads fed when the grid goes down. Backup is true three-phase, meaning all three phases stay supplied rather than just one — the difference shows as soon as a heat pump, an oven or machinery is involved.
Three MPP trackers accept up to 22500W of modules across three MC4 inputs, with 60A maximum DC current and an MPPT window from 140V to 1000V: room for several roof planes and for long strings. Declared European efficiency is 97.2%. The DC isolator and fuse protection are built in, so less hardware is needed in the switchboard.
The IP65 enclosure allows outdoor mounting, on a wall under a canopy for instance. Wi-Fi is built in and monitoring runs from an app or a web portal; the energy meter comes in the box, so self-consumption can be read straight away with nothing extra to order. The inverter works with three battery types from the range, chosen at design stage. Installation and commissioning are for qualified personnel.
