Pressure on the receiver, on the discharge line and on two branches of the network, three-phase current and running hours of two compressors, discharge temperature, water alarm under the condensate drains. Comparing the pressure while the compressors are stopped shows how much the network is losing. LoRaWAN radio transmission, data from PC and from the app.
What it does
- The four pressure sensors record the trend on the receiver, on the discharge line and on two branches of the network with one reading every 10 minutes, or more frequently if needed: you see the pressure drops between the compressor room and the departments and the hours when the network struggles.
- The two current meters read the three phases of each compressor. From the current draw you can tell running on load, running off load and stopped, count the hours and estimate the energy consumed.
- With the plant stopped and the compressors switched off, the speed at which the pressure falls measures the leaks in the network. With the two sensors on the branches, by closing the isolating valves, you find out which branch is losing the most.
- The PT100 probes follow the discharge temperature of each compressor: a temperature that rises at the same load points to a dirty radiator, oil due for a change or insufficient ventilation of the room.
- The water sensors report condensate on the floor under the drains, the dryer and the receiver: a drain that leaks, a clogged outlet that overflows.
- Thresholds and notifications on your smartphone for minimum and maximum pressure, discharge temperature and the presence of water; history and charts from a PC.

Available sizes
The size is selected at the top, together with the version and the connectivity. The diagram, the photo and the table above show the “2 compressors, 4 pressure points” size; with the other sizes only the quantities of the devices listed below change, the rest of the kit is identical.
- 2 compressors, 4 pressure points: 4 pressure sensors, 2 three-phase current meters, 2 PT100 temperature sensors, 2 spot leak sensors
- 4 compressors, 6 pressure points: 6 pressure sensors, 4 three-phase current meters, 4 PT100 temperature sensors, 4 spot leak sensors
In the complete kit the installation material linked to these devices (brackets, thermowells, clips, cables, boxes) follows the size selected. For a different size, write to us from the contacts section.

Before you order
Is an internet connection needed in the compressor room?
It is needed at the point where the gateway is installed: a socket of the company network or Wi-Fi coverage. The sensors do not use Wi-Fi, they talk to the gateway by radio, and the gateway can also sit in a cabinet outside the room. If there is no network, or you do not want to connect the system to the company network, the version with a 4G gateway is available, which requires a data SIM (not included, any operator, traffic below 1 GB per month). It is selected when ordering.
How are air leaks identified?
From the pressure chart during the hours when the plant is stopped. With the compressors off, which the current meter confirms, and no consumption, the pressure should stay almost constant: the speed at which it falls gives the measure of the leaks, and repeating the test after the work tells you how much you have recovered. By isolating the branches you identify the one that leaks the most. The kit quantifies the loss; the exact point along the pipework is then searched for with the usual methods.
Is it suitable for my compressors and my network pressure?
The pressure sensors cover from 0 to 16 bar, so industrial networks at 7-13 bar; for higher pressures, write to us. The current meter accepts up to 500A per phase and conductors up to 36.5 mm, in alternating current at 50-60Hz: on variable-speed compressors it goes on the supply line, not on the inverter output. It is powered by the current it measures from 5A upwards; with the compressor switched off it keeps transmitting for about 12 hours, then stops and restarts by itself. If you want the data during long shutdowns as well, it can be powered at 5V from the USB-C port.
Does the plant have to be shut down? Is an electrician needed?
The clamps close around the conductors without disconnecting them, but you work inside the compressor cabinet: qualified electrical personnel are required. For the pressure sensors a free threaded port with no pressure is needed: if the port already has an isolating valve nothing has to be stopped, otherwise a shutdown is used. With the cocks in the complete kit, later removals are done with the network under pressure. The thermowell for the temperature probe requires a socket on the discharge line; alternatively the probe is fixed in contact with the pipe, with a reading less faithful than the one in a thermowell.
How far does the signal reach?
The manufacturer declares up to 2 km in an urban area and 15 km in open field for this gateway; inside a plant, walls, steelwork and machines count. A compressor room and the network branches in the same building are covered by one gateway in a central position with the antenna outside the cabinet. The current meters work inside metal cabinets, which attenuate the signal: transmission is checked during installation, before closing up. For measuring points in distant buildings a second gateway is added.
I have more compressors or more branches to monitor
Among the product options you will find the size with 4 compressors and 6 pressure points. The kit is in any case configured on your system: one current meter and one probe per compressor, one pressure sensor for each branch you want to follow; the gateway and the platform stay the same. The same scheme applies to cooling water circuits and to other utilities. Write to us from the contacts section with the network layout, the working pressure and the power of the compressors: we will send you the composition and the quotation of the adapted kit.
Battery life
Pressure and temperature sensors: 19,000mAh lithium battery, declared life of 10 years with one reading every 10 minutes at 25 °C; shorter intervals and very hot rooms reduce it. Water sensors: up to 10 years. The batteries are replaceable and the charge level is visible in the app. The current meters have no batteries.
Where is the data viewed and are there any fees?
On the manufacturer's app and portal, from smartphone and PC, with charts, thresholds and notifications; no fee for basic use. If you have a supervision system, an energy management software or an ERP, the gateway can also send the data to that system (MQTT or HTTP): the configuration is included.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The plant is unaffected: the kit measures and controls nothing. The pressure and temperature sensors keep the readings in their internal memory and retransmit them when the line is restored. Notifications on your smartphone do not go out until the line is back.
Do they cope with the heat, the oil and the humidity of the compressor room?
The transmitter bodies of the pressure, temperature and water sensors are IP67 and work from -30 to +70 °C; the pressure transducer is IP65. The gateway and the current meters are IP30 and go inside the cabinets: gateway from -20 to +60 °C, meters up to +70 °C, clamps up to +55 °C. The water sensor detects conductive liquids: condensate is not very conductive, so during installation a test is carried out by wetting the probe with condensate from the system.
