The Battery-Box Premium HVS is built from 2.56 kWh modules: two make 5.12 kWh, five make 12.8 kWh, and up to three identical towers in parallel reach 38.4 kWh. This is the single module, which you need both to build a new tower and to extend one you already have.
Cobalt-free LFP cells, 102.4 V nominal per module, 25 A charging and discharging with peaks of 50 A for three seconds. Usable energy is stated at 100% depth of discharge rather than 90% as many do: that is a more honest way to measure, and it means the stated kWh are the ones you use. Round-trip efficiency above 96%.
IP55, so it tolerates a damp room, and an operating range of −10 to +50 °C with derating between −10 and +5 °C. 38 kg per module. CAN and RS485 communication. VDE 2510-50, IEC 62619, CE and UN 38.3 certified, 10-year warranty under the terms of BYD’s warranty letter. Inverter compatibility must be checked against BYD’s official list.
