SolarEdge S1000-1GM4MBT Power Optimizer for 2 Modules in Series, Commercial Systems
The SolarEdge S1000-1GM4MBT is a commercial S series power optimizer, designed to connect two photovoltaic modules in series to a single device: the number of optimizers, the installation time and the cost per kW are reduced, while keeping the MPPT at module pair level typical of the SolarEdge architecture.
It is installed on the mounting structure, in series in the string connected to the SolarEdge commercial three-phase inverters, with MC4 connectors. It integrates SafeDC™ technology, which in the event of inverter shutdown or emergency intervention automatically reduces the voltage of each optimizer to about 1 V, and the SolarEdge Sense Connect function for detecting connection faults. Monitoring is at module level through the SolarEdge platform; the IP68 / NEMA 6P enclosure allows outdoor use.
