The OP1 is the call point that gets broken in a fire to bring the system to a safe state. It does not break the power itself: it provides two volt-free contacts, one normally open and one normally closed, which change over permanently the moment the glass is broken with the hammer fixed next to it.
In photovoltaics it sits in the trip chain: the NC contact goes in series with the supply to the coil of the string firefighter switches or to the undervoltage release of the main breaker. The logic is fail-safe: breaking the glass removes the control voltage and the switches open by themselves, and the same happens if the control cable is cut. The remaining NO contact is used for signalling to the fire panel or to the monitoring system.
