DC Combiner Box 1000 V with DEHN Type 1+2 SPD for 3 PV Strings and 3 MPPT
Combiner box for the direct current side of photovoltaic systems up to 1000 V DC, configured for 3 strings on 3 independent MPPT inputs. It is wall-mounted along the route of the string cables, upstream of the inverter's DC inputs, and concentrates the surge protection of the entire photovoltaic generator in a single enclosure.
Protection is provided by a DEHN Type 1+2 surge protective device for photovoltaic systems up to 1000 V DC. DEHN combined arresters for the DC side (DEHNcombo YPV family) are built in a Y configuration, with pluggable varistor modules, an optical status indication window and a short-circuit-safe disconnection device; they are suitable for use in accordance with IEC 60364-7-712 for the protection of modules, combiner boxes and inverter DC inputs. The Type 1+2 class is the one required when the building is equipped with a lightning protection system.
