The DEHNshield DSH TT 2P 255 (part 941110) is the combined Type 1+2 arrester for the AC side of a single-phase supply, on TT and TN systems. It is prewired in a 1+1 configuration, so it takes only 2 modules in the board.
The technology is spark-gap based: it withstands a lightning current of Iimp 12.5 kA on the L-N path and 25 kA on the N-PE path, with a protection level of 1.5 kV, one of the lowest in its class. Follow current extinguishing reaches 25 kA rms and the response time is below 100 ns. Compliant with EN 61643-11, with KEMA and VDE certification.
