The 5SD7483-0KK02 is the Type 2 arrester for the DC side: it protects the inverter from surges induced by indirect lightning and by grid switching, which are the most frequent cause of MPPT input failures.
It works up to 1000 V DC with a nominal discharge current of In 15 kA and a maximum of 40 kA (8/20 µs), a protection level of 3.7 kV and a 2+V circuit between the L+ and L- poles. It takes 53 mm on the DIN rail, has optical status signalling and complies with IEC 61643-31.
