PROJOY PEFS-EL50H-16 firefighter safety switch for 8 strings
The PEFS-EL50H-16 opens the DC circuit of 8 photovoltaic strings whenever the roof has to be made safe: fire, fire brigade intervention, maintenance.
Operation follows the AC mains voltage: while it is there the contacts stay closed; as soon as it goes, the device opens. On top of that there is a thermal release that trips by itself if the internal temperature exceeds 70 °C. The enclosure is self-extinguishing and UV-resistant with an IP66 rating, the internal isolators comply with EN 60947-1 and EN 60947-3 and withstand over 1500 operations under load.
