The SMone SM-CT30N-200-5-05 is a single-phase through-type current transformer (CT) from the SM-TK30N series with a 200/5 A ratio and a Ø 26 mm window. It reduces the line current to a standardised 5 A secondary signal that can be read by energy meters, power analysers, power factor controllers and SVG static compensators.
The CT is installed in the electrical panel by passing the phase conductor through the core, without interrupting the power circuit; the oversized window accepts the large conductor cross-sections required by lines up to 200 A. The secondary is wired to screw terminals protected against contact. Class 0.5 provides the accuracy required for energy metering and power factor correction, while the safety factor FS 5 protects the downstream instruments.
