Solis FlexHome High Voltage BMS Control Unit for 15-40kWh Stackable Batteries
This is the BMS of the Solis FlexHome high-voltage series: the intelligent unit that runs a pack of stackable battery modules, watching cells, voltages and temperatures, handling balancing and keeping the dialogue with the hybrid inverter. Without it the modules are not a system.
Mind the minimum configuration, which is heavier here than on the low-voltage version: Solis states that a complete system needs 1 BMS plus 3 battery modules (module code SOL-SBAT-R5K-H-ST-OD), bought separately. That is where the high-voltage series starts, and why the smallest capacity is 15kWh.
From there the system grows in 5kWh steps up to 40kWh, with up to 4 units in parallel. The cells are LiFePO4, with a declared depth of discharge of 90% or more and over 6,000 cycles, around a decade of average service. The unit weighs 20kg.
